Volunteer Holidays: come and help under the sun and fresh air with an environment clean-up. At the same time learn a little from ecologists/biologists about the impacts and more. 5 hours a day in return for accommodation and meals on a programme for November/December 2006 and January/February 2007. For photographers of all levels seeking help, experience and location opportunity. This small programme is devoted to the subject in practical terms as well as tips to improve from €99.00 per person with own camera.

The walks and historical background of Fuerteventura 1- or 3-day event
Off the beaten track with splendid views and rustical environment for active walkers and guanche history.

Cabo Verde Islands

The Eco-Dive sustainable diving techniques and marine photography
Cabo Verde island of Boa Vista.
Coral reefs and wreck sites with introduction courses for non-divers to international standards as 10-day event.
June through October with accomm & transport/boat tanks/wts/air & 12 dives. From €399.00 per diver, min 4 divers.

The Turtle Recuperation Project & visitation of the scientific sites & more Boa Vista.
Includes night and day visits to controlled beaches and eco-visits to the island as a 5-day event 6 nights. From €299.00 per person with hotel accommodation/transport ... or 10 days/13 nights, €499.00 per person. No flights.
During the Diving Programme it will be possible for those divers to spend a half day/ night on the turtle beach at a cost of €15.00 per person, which includes the round trip to the SW area of the island. Both the above programmes are based in Sal Rei, the main village of the island of Boa Vista.

Eco-Vive programmes are available within any current market package deal with arrival in Fuerteventura and accommodations in either Caleta Fuste/Nuevo Horizonte or Corralejo with a stay period of 7 nights or more as the case may be. These programmes are private and not for sale by any other organisation.
For those wishing to live in more rural surroundings, we can offer typical or non-mass tourist locations and indeed some of our programmes include the accommodation as for example, the 3 islands programmes.
With regard to Cabo Verde we arrange your accommodation and essential transport as included in the ground package cost. The programmes are costed for minimum groups of 6 although a small group of 4 will be accepted though a variation in the basic cost will apply.
All reservations are preferred 6 weeks in advance principally for accommodation arrangements, although pre-purchased package deal visitors can reserve ideally 2-3 weeks in advance if possible. We only provide for small groups, not mass tourism.

All accounts for programmes are paid locally in euros with a pre-sent deposit on programmes that include accommodation of €50 per person. No deposit received minimum of 2 weeks prior to arrival date implies reservation not active and free for other clients.

All programmes are based on previous in-depth experience by members of www.eco-vive.org which is the communal website of various ecologists, naturalists and biologists of English/Spanish/German languages whose philosophy of the defence and education of, the natural world is a common factor in the provision for the activities to participating guests or scientific colleagues. Non-scientific programmes are not thus structured to be more than an in-depth experience with the timetable locally derived in consultation and in deference in some cases to the sea conditions prevailing.

Scientific programmes...
These are only provided on a logistics support and local knowledge facility with translation and documentation assistance facilitated. Thus transports, accommodations and boats, or diving, or hides, or field kitchens etc. All arrangements in accordance with the principal client and the nature of the programme/expedition and all logistics there-of.

Accommodations...
Accommodations are provided only when required by the visiting group for non-scientific sojourns or as on-board as the programme dictates. In such cases alimentation support is confirmed as is breakfast/lunch/eve-meals ... also, any special requirements of additional alimentation or items not easily obtainable such as medicines, skin care & toiletries. Also batteries for various uses or film, will be clearly advised.
Accommodation is provided as a group economic factor or ease of providing the tour/programme and is often local not centred in large tourist complexes ... also private dwellings and the camp on Boa Vista.

Cost include/exclude: flights, insurance, all other costs not specified...
Cost of all the 3/5/7/10 day programmes includes the professional services of the host and transport of the said tour with any accommodation designated as standard in part or in whole of the sojourn and amenities such as 'on-board' beverages or equipments to provide a level of basic comfort and interest in the daily well-being of each individual.
